Art of Noize is a small group of people based in Sweden with a common love for music. More specifically music that makes people go bananas. We love the heavy, the hard-hitting, the trashy, the beautiful. We love discovering new music and we love sharing it with the world. Most of all we love letting music surprise us.
What else do we do?
We never started Art Of Noize with the intent of it just being another music blog. We want to go above and beyond what is expected. Therefore we've been very active in covering the EDM (Electronic Dance Music) scene in Sweden by going to gigs, filming live shows and talking to the best artists out there. Our YouTube channel is a testament to a lot of the work we've done so far, but our hope is to be able to add work we are proud of and love to this page as our journey continues.
What kind of Music will i find here?
The way we see it genres often do people disfavours. They tend to act like walls disconnecting people who love music. We love good music, that's it. That being said, with Art of Noize our goal is to share music that delivers the finest of what we call 'hard-hitting' party flavours. We like the stuff which makes you wanna headbang. Today this tends to include labels such as Dubstep, Electro of different varieties and Drum & Bass. We never feel the need to stick within the parameters of these labels. Good music is good music and that's what we want to share with you.
New release from fellow swede Joakim Alfvén aka. Joaquin.
The track itself is an official remix of another swedish dude named Lucas Nord, and it’s been out for a couple of days. I recommend you give it a listen cause the track is a powertrip of good vibes and it atleast gave me some much needed energy on this oh so gloomy sunday.
Ah well there has been loads of opinions on “Random Access Memories” and I myself had some struggle at the beginning with Dafts new ways! But after getting the album on vinyl I changed my mind totally! I love it! And one of the tracks I dig is “Doin’ It Right”. Computer Club worked his magic on this gem and turned it in to a really chill awesome DNB tune! Hope you will enjoy this as much as I am.

It’s not every day you come across an artist who has yet to release their third track and you’re completely blown away by their musicianship and production skills, but Friday was one of those days when I discovered Layer. Disposal which is his latest tune, takes me back to another time in Drum & Bass. The production is immense, there’s beautiful simplicity in its structure yet it never bores you. This is one of those tracks that reminds me why I love Drum & Bass.
I’m looking forward to future productions from Layer, I can only imagine the future is bright. This is an Art of Noize exclusive, free download. Make sure you download the track by following the link and liking us on Facebook below:
Mike Stonebank or Mike Modulate and Rocket Pimp is a UK based DJ and producer. When I first heard his music I was very surprised of how all the extreme sounds were matched together in this amazing symbiosis.
While Mike Modulate focuses more on the drum & bass and dubstep sound he creates an amazing orgy of pumping basslines and lightning synth stabs under the alias Rocketpimp. This has to be one of the most interesting electro house producers today.
Sometimes you guys submit some really awesome shit. This was sent to us yesterday and I just had to post it. Joakim Alfvén aka. Joaquin was the guy that sent us this beast of a track. The Stockholm/Sweden based producer is working on his first EP right now and I bet he can deliver us something similiar to this!
The track itself contains the quite over-used South-african groups vocals and some pretty fucking intense layers of madness.
If you like his shit you should go like the guy on Facebook and befriend him on Soundcloud cause hopefully we will see more of him in the future.
Label manager, agency co-owner, producer and our very good friend Serkan Denizer just released his first EP as a solo act. Dafuq is its name and it’s an absolute rollercoster of disted synths and heartpumping beats.
When not releasing other top notch tracks on his record label Bonerizing Records he apperently has time to produce some serious bangers as well. This is the first thing we have heard from him since his last project Tiger & Wolf and hopefully not the last.
I honestly recommend you all to go buy this release as soon as possible and if you are interested in hearing more from the guy then I would say you should go see him at Dans Dakar this summer.
Longt time since I made some noize here and since I haven’t seen to much Drum n Bass posted here lately, I think it’s time to smack two birds with one stone today.
I recorded this mixtape this morning, which is the latest installation in my DnB Surge volumes, which is up to volume 3 now (sorry, forgot to post volume 2 when it was released, but you can find it here). I took a great chunk of new and classic tracks, all in the space of Neuro/dark, jump up, techstep and a little jungle. Got a great adrenaline rush making this, which I hope to achieve giving you while listening to it.

We don’t post tracks that firmly belong in the Hip-Hop category that often but damn this one is so funky and electronic at the same time I just had to. If you haven’t heard MF Doom yet you need to get on it! As far as I know this is originally a Danger Doom track though (collab between Danger Mouse and MF Doom), but Opiuo tagged it MF Doom. The tune sticks pretty damn close to the original but this one is really, really bassy, which is what I love about it. And lets not forget the funk.
