Art of Noize is a small group of people based in Sweden with a common love for music. More specifically music that makes people go bananas. We love the heavy, the hard-hitting, the trashy, the beautiful. We love discovering new music and we love sharing it with the world. Most of all we love letting music surprise us.
What else do we do?
We never started Art Of Noize with the intent of it just being another music blog. We want to go above and beyond what is expected. Therefore we've been very active in covering the EDM (Electronic Dance Music) scene in Sweden by going to gigs, filming live shows and talking to the best artists out there. Our YouTube channel is a testament to a lot of the work we've done so far, but our hope is to be able to add work we are proud of and love to this page as our journey continues.
What kind of Music will i find here?
The way we see it genres often do people disfavours. They tend to act like walls disconnecting people who love music. We love good music, that's it. That being said, with Art of Noize our goal is to share music that delivers the finest of what we call 'hard-hitting' party flavours. We like the stuff which makes you wanna headbang. Today this tends to include labels such as Dubstep, Electro of different varieties and Drum & Bass. We never feel the need to stick within the parameters of these labels. Good music is good music and that's what we want to share with you.
Mike Stonebank or Mike Modulate and Rocket Pimp is a UK based DJ and producer. When I first heard his music I was very surprised of how all the extreme sounds were matched together in this amazing symbiosis.
While Mike Modulate focuses more on the drum & bass and dubstep sound he creates an amazing orgy of pumping basslines and lightning synth stabs under the alias Rocketpimp. This has to be one of the most interesting electro house producers today.

It’s unusual or even unheard of for us to post 2 posts consecutively about one artist, but this one felt required. Shufflethroat is already getting ready for his debut EP release and Art of Noize is getting an exclusive preview on this one. It’s hard to believe that Shufflethroat is releasing such a lot of high quality material in such a short time, but we sure as hell ain’t complaining. It deserved a post on our YouTube channel as well.
Look out for the release of the full EP for free on December 18th. Naturally we will be posting it!
I love when things go well for people I know! Recently Robbie, my former comrade from the blog we both used to write for, took one step further with his Sacramento party crew and started up their own label HOF Records. And now recently, they came out with their second release, which is The Vandal Squad‘s and Chuuwee‘s Turn Up EP. And as I’ve always have liked The Vandal Squad, I knew this would be good. Glad was I, because it was even better than I had expected. Production is on-point, vocals are slick and the bassline is heavy!
To preview the EP, press play on the embedded player. Satisfaction guaranteed!
Bonus: Exclusive free download here for you all on the instrumental version of Turn Up, cheers for this HOF Records!
I will make this post quite short since it’s getting really late. I just had to share this new Terravita track that they released for free. Why you say? Cause it’s insanly good, thats why. It’s hard to find a track thats this funky and still has that huge amount of rawness to it.

Even tho I love hard hitting shit that literally blow my mind to smithereens, I do enjoy the more softer sides of electronic music! And here we have an excellent example from one of my favorite duos named Geometry. Here they have remixed Ellie Gouldings song “Lights” which so many already have done. But somehow I really enjoy to hear this awesome song again! Maybe it´s because I haven’t heard it for a while or just because it´s just a great production! I guess the latter. So as always, crank up that volume and enjoy this free melodic dubstep song! To get it, just like their page on Facebook here!
Antichrist is as many of you know one of our favorite producers here at Art of Noize. And we are always glad to see new things coming from him. Here we can introduce you to his new EP entitled “VHS” released via the awesome label Bonerizing Records consisting of two unique tracks named “Doomsicle” and “Cottonwood Mountain”.
The first track Cottonwood Mountain is a track I tried making that has a lot of emotions. But is still a banger. Doomsicle is a dubstep/glitch track, I wanted to make something with some different sounds i managed to create. It’s a bit different but it should be heavy enough to blast some ears to death. Hope you all enjoy this release and thanks for supporting me so far! I love you all for that. /Antichrist
Speaking for myself. When I first heard “Doomsicle” I got chills down my spine when I heard the intro of the song. And when it all starts at about 1.08 I closed my eyes and just nodded my head back and forth and smiled. “Cottonwood Mountain” on the other hand made me move my pale limbs a bit more. In a none freakish matter that is! I am always surprised on how Dennis Johansson aka Antichrist can make such unique sounds and fit them all together to create awesome tracks like these two! Hands down to Antichrist, hands down! Have a listen and go grab the EP on Beatport here!

Statix released their new EP called “Escape” a couple of days ago, and I have been listening to it on and off since then. The EP includes 3 originals and 2 remixes and it´s dubstep all the way! As always I fancy remixes, dont know why but I just do. So the one remix that caught my ear the most on this EP is Matta’s remix on the song called “Samurai” . The song is freaking awesome, and gets me hard when it decides to show no mercy when the drop comes. So for the love of your ears, be sure to crank up that bass and enjoy this litte sucker! And be sure to check out the whole EP here as well. It´s totally worth it!
Rusko has had some problems with his labels lately, with that in mind he have decided to release all his music for free from now on. This is the first free release since that decision and the english dubstep producer does not disappoint.
The EP contains four tracks and has everything that you expect from Rusko. The production is top-notch with that really crispy and fresh sound. Can’t wait to try out “LIKE THIS” on some good speakers! That track has everything that I love in glitch-hop with the intenseness of a really good dubstep track.
