Art of Noize is a small group of people based in Sweden with a common love for music. More specifically music that makes people go bananas. We love the heavy, the hard-hitting, the trashy, the beautiful. We love discovering new music and we love sharing it with the world. Most of all we love letting music surprise us.
What else do we do?
We never started Art Of Noize with the intent of it just being another music blog. We want to go above and beyond what is expected. Therefore we've been very active in covering the EDM (Electronic Dance Music) scene in Sweden by going to gigs, filming live shows and talking to the best artists out there. Our YouTube channel is a testament to a lot of the work we've done so far, but our hope is to be able to add work we are proud of and love to this page as our journey continues.
What kind of Music will i find here?
The way we see it genres often do people disfavours. They tend to act like walls disconnecting people who love music. We love good music, that's it. That being said, with Art of Noize our goal is to share music that delivers the finest of what we call 'hard-hitting' party flavours. We like the stuff which makes you wanna headbang. Today this tends to include labels such as Dubstep, Electro of different varieties and Drum & Bass. We never feel the need to stick within the parameters of these labels. Good music is good music and that's what we want to share with you.

:DFace has here made a great example of what I like to hear on a dance floor when it comes to mombahton. “Scapegoat” is not that ordinary tune with the classic mombah beat, no it has more to it! Some electro vibes in it as well. And that really gets me going! The sampling from B.I.G. “Dead Wrong” is spot on as well. I will surely drop this in one of my next set I play.

It has been quite a while now since the nowadays famous ‘Express Yourself EP Sampler‘ was released. This has to do with various issues surrounding the release of the EP. But now it’s here, so let’s not worry about that. The Express Yourself EP is all about moombahton and is therefore not surprisingly released on the moombahton associated label Mad Decent. The title track ‘Express Yourself’ has been around for a while now and we already know what it’s about. It’s got great, energetic vocals and is groovy and fun. The other tracks on the EP is also interesting and enjoyable. Some sounds are more aggressive and distorted and some are more laid-back. Like I stated when I wrote about the EP sampler, I think this music is interesting and I do enjoy the exploration oct new sound landscapes. My favorite tracks right now are probably Set It Off and Barley Standing (featuring Datsik). Give the tracks a few plays and really listen to this, they deserve it.
Okay so this preview has been out for a few days and I didn’t feel like posting about it at first but now i gave the track another chance and it’s actually pretty catchy. Obviously this is an interesting collaboration since it’s two producers I respect. Also the genre aim is interesting, according to Francis is supposed to be funky moombathon. Sounds interesting. Looking forward to this release.

I guess it’s fair to say that Knife party has been hitting i pretty damn big this last year. And finally, after what feels like forever, they’re back with a whole EP entitled Rage Valley. Feels like all the four tracks is in a different genre but who cares, right? The music speaks for itself. Just listen and enjoy.
