The title says it all doesn’t it? Just in case you’re unaware of how to party to dubstep, the golden rule is: however the f*** you want to:

The Rottun guys probably kidnapped a transformer and keep him in Excisions basement where they record stuff. How else does one come up with sounds this crazy?!? Here is their latest recording! This is the track that served as Excisions epic intro track for his Shambhala 2010 set and subsequent mix. That voice processing is insane and the rhythm changes in this tune makes it pretty damn interesting to use in a live set in my opinion. The tune drops on May 23rd!

If you know what Dubstep is, you should know Rusko. Rusko and Caspa are known across the world as the guys that introduced half the world to Dubstep via their Fabriclive mix a few years back. Now Rusko is back with a new single entitled Everyday with one of those deep music videos with super awesome color grading depicting middle american families.

Rusko – Everyday (Netsky Remix)

Then there’s the DnB remix from Netsky, which actually puts a whole new banger twist on the track. This is definitely one you’ve been hearing in the clubs for the past months.

Foreign Beggars is about to release their new EP, “The Harder They Fall” on june 6th. Here’s a preview on another track in collaboration with Skrillex, whom they seem to get along with well and vice versa judging from recent releases both under Skrillex and Foreign Beggars flag.

Nice track and all but I’m starting to worry a bit as I observe lack of development in Skrillex’s producing. Seems like we’ve heard this before. I think Sonny needs to evolve as a producer and start using different sounds to stay in the game. What do you guys think?

It always amazes me the kind of production value that the Swedish bred Liquid Stranger has on his tunes. The percussion on this track alone is enough, but then he brings in those gutwrenching sub frequencies which just make ya puke yer gizzards out (in a good way). Check the track out and give it a buy at beatport if you like it as much as I do : )

The evening lived up to my expectations. I think that says a lot considering it was Skrillex and semi-surprise guest Porter Robinson hitting the decks. If you’ve been following us you’ve probably noticed we’re all a bit fanatical about Skrillex sound and tonight proved that Stockholmers are as well! We got to hear a bunch of new tunes (most of which are posted on the site) but also the as of yet unreleased ‘Still Getting It‘, his latest collaboration with UK rappers Foreign Beggars.

Of course we were there to capture the show, so make sure to check back for a sweet ass hype vid soon, especially if you were in the crowd, you might catch a glimpse of yourself.

Maybe you’ve heard, Skrillex recently stated that he had his harddrives stolen from a hotel room in Milan, Italy. On the discs was his new album, almost finished. Now that has got to suck. Well, it doesn’t seem that he is giving up because of that, since he also said that he is now focusing on remaking the lost work. He was also in the making of a remix of Lady Gaga‘s “Born This Way”, which where lost as well. However, the unfinished remix could be found on YouTube. Here it is:

Also, yesterday Skrillex gave out a new song for free. The song was apparently ordered by some Norwegian students to celebrate their graduation. (These celebrations is a big deal in Norway.) Word is they paid $15 000 for it. Wow. Sonny delivered, and I think the song is pretty catchy. It has a happier mood than his own tracks, but still has that Skrillex sound to it. Nice to hear a different side of him.
