Exactly a week ago, one of the most anticipated EP’s of this year, if you ask me, came out. The EP I’m talking about is The Creature EP, signed by LAXX in collaboration with Farkas and Soap Dodgers. This came by the courtesy of Biscuit Factory and it’s no surprise the highlight of this EP is LAXX and Farkas tune Creature. Seriously, it’s just utterly ridiculous that I’m just gonna stop write now and just order you all to hear out the preview embedded below. Afterwards just buy it on beatport without a second of hesitation. It’s just that good!

California mad man TJR decided earlier today to release a cleaned up houseclassic, which is Thomas Bangalter‘s track Ventura (just in case if anyone doesn’t know, Mr. Bangalter is one part of the small duo Daft Punk). By just making some slight variations to the arrangement, he breaths new life in this tune. Grab a free download of this from the embedded soundcloud player!

There is no other duo from Sweden that I have so much respect for than F.O.O.L. Besides being probably the friendliest people that I know, are constantly out around the world tearing clubs and festivals apart, they never seize to stop producing new original tracks and remixes that always sounds fresh. It’s also a really big plus that they release so many tracks for free download, something that we all appriciate a lot!

They are back now giving out a new original track they made together with Your Ol Lady to promote the Australian brand Deafkids Apparel. And as always with these guys, we’re in for a treat. So give it a spin and grab a free download from the embedded player if you fancy what you hear!

Hi and good day to all of you readers!

My name is Niklas (aka Naxon as I will be known as here on the blog) and I’m one of several new contributors to this fine blog. Some might know a little about me, since I used to be until lately a part of the Dödselectro crew, where I wrote about music since the birth of that blog basicly. But due to various reasons, I’ve decided to join this fine team to write about the music that gets me pumping. I hope you readers will find my posts to be an interesting addition to this blog!

Anyway, something I usually did at the previous blog was to post mixtapes from time to time that I’ve recorded and something I’ll keep on doing here. And for the first time, I’ve done a mixtape with strictly Drum n Bass material. I hope you enjoy this one, cheers!

I was checking out Antichrists room when i came across this guy playing one of his own tracks and I just had to post it here on the blog. The thing that got my attention at first was the hilarious norwegian samples but when I listened to it more closely I found it really fucking good.

Bypass Bandits consists of three Norwegian producers that have produced togheter for a year now. They do deserve all the hype they can get cause just as Antichrist their production is so fucking crisp! If you like the track as much as I do you should most definitly go give them some love on their Soundcloud or Facebook page.

If you’ve seen us play live or if you’ve followed the blog for a while you’ll know we’re pretty obsessed with Trumpdisco at AON. Their sound design and song writing capabilities are out of this world in our minds. They truly have an original sound which nobody else has been able to copy, which is why we keep coming back to their releases. This new EP has some pretty large remixes, one of them being none other than HAEZER. Released TODAY on Birth Records (UK).

Update: Check out the new Music Video. Shoutout to a buddy of mine from Australia Alex Jones who was involved in the production of the video!

Don’t know about you guys but A-Trak’s and Dillion Francis’s Money Makin’ has definitely been at the top ten on my list of summer tunes. Now the remixes are here which is nice.

These are three very different remixes which makes the whole thing interesting. The Oliver Twizt Trap Remix offers the trap sound along with samples of the original track which sounds good. Barjo & Alban Lipp Remix is more of a classic electro track, while the 45 King Bonus Beats Remix is a old school funky track done with a large portion of humor and attitude.

Have a listen and go here if you feel like shopping.

Bare is part of the group of producers that were heavily influenced by early filthmongers (and I don’t mean that as an insult) such as Excision, Datsik and Downlink who brought that heavy, robotic dubstep sound to an entire generation. Although to a certain extent that non-melodic, robo-sound has died out a little bit, it still exists and I can’t deny that I still enjoy it from time to time, especially when interesting sound elements are involved. That’s exactly what caught my ear on one of the tracks from this new EP from Bare.

The whole EP is downloadable for free, so head over to Scion A/V and grab it if you like what you hear.

This is definitely an unusual tune for being AON, but good music is good music and this definitely fits in that category in my opinion. It’s a ravey type of Trap tune. If you don’t know what Trap is, it’s a type of music which shares features with southern hip-hop, electro and probably more. I haven’t delved into the genre all too much myself, but this is a ravey, super bass heavy tune and I never say no to that. The production level is superb and the simplicity of the tune is beautiful. If you’re in the right mood this is something to blast.

New track from Indian dubstep producer Sound Avtar. Only been producing under this alias for about 6 month but have already produced some of the filthiest track I’v heard this year (and still sounding good I might add). Robotic madness at it’s finest.
This new track is called Rolling Up A Monster and is a bit more mellow then his earlier tracks. For me that ain’t that into all those crazy progressive sounds this is a step in the right direction. Don’t get me wrong though, this track is still heavy as f**k.
